Yes, all the big/well known ones all pay up (From my experience) Just don't go depositing money in some tiny broker operating out of Afghanistan or something. However, they will pay out if you got executed at incorrect prices (ie you were news trading) which never existed and they had no time to hedge their overall exposure.

There is no such thing as keeping under the radar, brokers themselves do not hunt stops as opposed to what you hear from some people or anything like that.

    Thanks :)

    No problem

    Hey,

Depends, your going to have to pay tax on your profits if you are not going to spread bet, I don't spread bet myself. My brokers are :

Oanda (Fine, lowest spreads for retail broker, widen during news times which may or may not be a problem depending on your strategy, great granularity as well for risk management)

Alpari UK (Great broker, spreads came down recently enough, are pretty fixed in spread terms)

MBTrading (Good ECN Broker, are introducing MT4 soon which will be nice, spreads are low, some people say the commission is pricey but I reckon their execution makes up for it)

If you have a bomb load of money then probably Dukascopy would be a good broker, starting off any of the ones above are fine, I would probably go with Oanda or Alpari UK If I were you.

What makes you think that you are ready ?

    What is your strategy ?

Have you backtested it through various market conditions ie. Go back and test it on data from 2006 - most systems that do well in these current conditions we are enjoying get absolutely creamed in 2006 conditions. ?

Also don't invest big money at the start, how long have you been demoing and what is your experience ?

I have been trading using the demo account for a few months. Have a good success rate!

I will be trading commodities.....I have sourced the ones that work well for me and I have studied and understand all the charts and trend indicators.

For the past month I am making a few hundred a week which I know is small but my plan is to trade that way until I build up money......not gonna use my own!

I am confident that my strategy will work.

Yeah I was looking at Oanda......not mad on the platform......will play it for awhile until i get used to it.

    Are u a currency trader?

    Fast paced market at times!

Well guess you have it all covered then.

You can always just use the charts from somewhere different and just use Oanda for the orders.

Yeah I am a full time trader trading mostly Forex but sometimes commodities and some indexes.
