    From O'Mahony's website:
Bertie Ahern will be in O'Mahony's, 120 O'Connell Street, Limerick on the 16th October at 12.30pm signing copies of his autobiography.

Anyone fancy heading along and asking him straight out how he managed to remember enough to write a book, or whether he revised each chapter 5 times when questioned about the content ?

Personally, I'm tempted; although I won't be buying the book until at least the 2nd Edition; the one that includes the Mahon Tribunal's finding as a "bonus chapter".

I shouldnt bother Liam, you can be guaranteed that will have been thought of by his security staff. I would imagine you would have to have bought the book to even get near him. O'Mahony's have that little room upstairs in the library section, if your willing to pay 16 euros for the book then i am sure they will let you up!! If not, i'd say you wont get within an arses roar of him. And just you wait and see....they will be out the door to go up and tell him what a great man he is.......

Would not waste my time going down to see that fraudster let alone wasting money on his book.

Amazing how his memory improved for the book isn't it?

The best thing to do to send a message to Ahern is not to turn up. Ahern thrives on the rubbing shoulders/ pressing the flesh with the adoring masses. If no one turned up, I reckon it would send a chilling message to the man that history should remember as "the man who destroyed Ireland"

Was considering a protest, but that'd be sweet, given the size of The Deluded One's ego.

Spread the word - via Facebook, Boards, Twitter - everywhere you can!

Let no-one go to O'Mahony's tomorrow week.

Did anyone see the Late Late interview, christ what a sham, a brown nosing Tubridy feeding him easy questions and a sheep audience clapping along and laughing like a bunch of trained ****ing seals, this is why I dont pay my tv license. Ahern is a genius really, he ruins the country and because "ah sure we all make mistakes" the people lap it up, hope someone makes a scene at O'Mahonys next week

In the wake of one of the ugliest property bubble bursts in history, Bertie Ahern told guests at his book launch the other night that the country was in "safe hands" during the decade when himself and Charlie McCreevy were in government.

This is akin to how a turkey getting fattened up throughout the year by a caring farmer will also feel in "safe hands", that is of course until some time in early December.

No, I won't be going to the book signing.
