    Just back from Tesco.

Some great deals going on for snacks and treats and whatnot.

Starburst: large bag €1.14 (about €2.50 in Super Valu)
Rowntrees Pix and Mix(fruit pastilles, gums, and Tooti Froot)i €1.59
Extra Ice mints: only €0.35 per pack.
Haribo Starmix: 300G bag only €1 (used be €2.10 for 160G bag in there)
Tesco Salted Peanuts: €0.35 (amazing price. 200G. really nice peanuts too. 95G pack of Planters is like €1.50 in my local Mace)
Pumpkin Seeds: €1.65 (Down from €3.20. really nice and healthy to boot)

very wary of Tesco "value" products (particularly food) - whats the difference between these and the regular Tesco brand peanuts eh?

I have to ask, what do you use the pumpkin seeds for?
Just a nibble or a salad?
I do love them in bread :).
I picked up some of the offers on Wednesday, the special aisle shelves hadn`t been finished assembling and it was cleared, full of empty boxes with the display layout sheet left attached for the shelf stalker to follow, hope he wasn`t stampeded:eek:.
Aldi have similar great offers too out,and on branded sweets;).
Looks like a sweet halloween in store for the nibblers.

Aside from pumpkin sees has sweets become the staple of groceries.... Dont answer that!

I buy all my non branded sweets in Lidl for t or t. I notice a large amount of kids hopping of the walls from all that sugar!

side note: The dentist specifically singles out the natural confect company for the massive amount of sugar they contain.

    not that you prob care.:)
