I'm upgrading my TV & was hopeing to get an LCD with built in freeview. Budget of €800 approx.
What stations can I get via freeview?
Anyone know of any good deals?

how will you get the freeview?? i brought a box home from the uk but it didn't pick up anything.
the only decent channels are bbc 3, 4, itv 2,3,4, dave and maybe one or two more.

Freeview is the UK set of FTA channels. You can receive them if you live near the border and in some other circumstances.

The 'best' way to get these channels is via satellite. There is a slightly larger set of channels available including one or two in HD.

Panasonic make some TV's for the UK market which have inbuilt Freesat and Freeview receivers - I have one and it is great.

Further information can be found in this forum and this thread should probably best be moved there:
