Dreambox 500s EPG

    Anyone know any good EPGs which work with the above box ? Looking for one that will do Sky and Sky Italia etc.

    I think you need to have one of the models with HDD or other storage device to avail of the good epg solutions, the internal memory on the 500,5620 etc just cant store all the info for it.

    i wonder if this would work on a 500s with a samba or nfs share mounted?

    You could try the WeekEPg plugin.
    That gives a good guide for SKy Uk and Italia too but it needs to store the data on a mounted drive on a pc.
    I use SQLiteEpg on a Jade 3 image for Sky UK,its very good.
    It updates daily and creates a database of listings on a mounted drive.
    I limit it to 1 days listings otherwise it gets too big and the 500s cant handle the size,it gets very sluggish.
    I actually prefer this setup to the one on the Sky box.
