I helped my uncle get over his fear of snakes just 3 days ago. The man swore blind for the last 3 or 4 years that he would never touch one or even be in the same room as one and that he hated them.
3 days ago, i picked up a 4.5 foot california king snake off a mate of mine who lost interest in it. Took it to show my aunt and her partner and my uncle on my way home from picking it up. He saw a mate of mine with it and within 5 minutes, my uncle had the snake around his arm . He was delighted that it didnt bite him and that it wasnt slimey like most people think.
Took me by surprise it did, 3 weeks before that we were watching a docu on anacondas and he was sweating just looking at pics of snakes on the tv,, now he loves em.
