ihave a share dealing account with fexco and have circa €10,000 of shares with them. i have opened an account with td waterhouse they have a form you can fill in and they will take over the shares from fexco.

now what i want to know is how much will thry charge for this facility and more to the point will fexco charge for handing over charge of the shares to td?

i couldn't find this info on their site

You can expect to pay around €30 per transferred possition. Fees must be listed somewhere.

found some answers here from td waterhouses faq page
    http://www.tdwaterhouse.ie/help/faqs/12

interesting to note that it could take upto 21 days to complete the handover who do you contact in the mean time if you want to sell, are your shares in limbo, you would think in an age of high speed internet and tele communications that a simple transfer of shares from one holding company to another would be pretty straight forward
