Guys I'm looking for a bit of help have the annual lads on tour trip and this time its too Newcastle. So some advice here would be great.
I'm looking to find out a cheap place to stay that wont require taxis to all the bars clubs and "clubs" etc.
There is 8 of us but we don't want to all be in the same room for obvious reasons. So any suggestions or advice or where people have stayed before would be great...

    Edit

Staying a Thursday and a Friday night If that makes any difference.

    Thanks

I've stayed in Jurys a couple of times. It's 5 minutes around the corner from the train station(which is also a metro stop on the route from the airport) and a short stroll to all that the city centre offers. Newcastle is pretty handy to get around by foot.

i went over for the UFC last Jan. we stayed in the HIlton on the Sat night as the fighters were astaying there, and Travelodge on the Sunday.

IMO the Travelodge was better was much better value for money (29quid a room) and it was right in city centre
