Hey... I'm currently a member of a very established running club in Bushy Park Tenure whom i find really nice people and a really good set up, however i find everyone else is allot more experienced than me and i'm always last in the pack - i know i shouldn't care but kinda do. I have seen other running groups up there, some been girls only , so does any one know of a beginners running clubs up there or around? Thanks a mil

If you are in Sportsworld, join Rathfarnham.
If you are in Rathfarnham, tough it out, you'll get fastest and won't be slowest for long.

Hi jjbsligo, Rathfarnham AC did have a 'fit4life' programme last year. This kind of group may suit you better, but I'm not sure if its still going. Here's a link:

Hey JJBSligo, would second that advise to keep with it. You will suprise yourself how much you can improve even over a month. Try and do some 'homework' in between the classes (i.e go out on your own bat and run a couple of times a week) and you will be amazed how quickly you improve. Good luck with it :)

hey tunney, gerard65, misty floyd and MayoRoadRunner - Thanks a mil for your support - it is well digested on my side - confidence was low there however have the determination back again - I kicked ass in my last two sessions at running club (well my own ass!) I realised allot of this was in my head and also realised, you don't get the results unless you put in the hard work throughout the week - I have a training plan in place now. Realised i may be slow now, but will get there! :)

    Thanks Guys
