Step by Step Vat and PAYE Returns

    I've looked at revenue website but was wondering if there was anywhere else that gave simple step by step procedure for doing VAT and PAYE returns?

    The VAT guide in the stickies explains the different boxes- VAT returns are pretty simple anyway.

    PAYE returns are little more tricky- I suggest tracking down an accountant as if you balls it up you are liable to penalties and interest

    PAYE - get your self a simple payroll package. You can get some of them free to download. It is very complex with all the different PRSI classes and Income levy thresholds.

    VAT - Excel spreadsheets with simple columns DATE SUPPLIER GROS VAT NET for both sales and purchases cut it off after you do a return, print it and staple it to the invoices. Then start a new sheet for the next period.
