Hi,

My brother in law trained for the marathon, did all the build up races and got sponsored for charity. He only gave up smoking a few months ago so it's been quite and achievement and he is looking forward to the race.

He missed the deadline for the race by a day and the registration office flat out refuse to help. I also notice there is a sticky on this forum that Boards.ie people don't want people asking to swap registrations as it is against the Marathon rules. Why does the Marathon registration office get to influence what is allowed on the boards here - isn't that censorship, I'm pretty surprised and disappointed.

Anyway, if anyone has any information that could help us in getting a registration, or knows of a forum somewhere where open discussion is allowed then I'd really appreciate the information.
