Parking/Advice for job in Dublin

My GF has to work in South Anne St (off Grafton St) in Dublin on monday and a few other days in the coming month. She'll be doing shift work....some days starting at half 7am and finishing at half 2pm and others starting at half 1pm and finishing at half 8pm.

Since neither of us are from Dublin whats the best option? Is there a multi-story in stephen's green to park in or would it be better to park at Red Cow, get Luas to Abbey Street and walk to South Anne St?

Which would be more cost effective and safer for a young woman?

    Cheers!

How much are you willing to spend on parking is the question?

Well at the moment she is paying around €4.50 a day but I wouldn't have a clue what Dublin parking charges are!

cost wise she is better of parking at either red cow or Kylemore and getting luas into Abby Street and then walking up to South Anne St, town would be busy from early so would be plenty of ppl around the areas she is walking.

The park and ride at kylemore is €4 a day, and you can get a bus outside the place leaving you at central bank and a 5 minute walk to grafton st.

There's a car park on tara street and one on poolbeg street that are either 10 or 15 euro all day - these are about a 5 minute walk from Grafton street. I think there's also one on city quay charging a similar price - about 10 minutes walk from grafton street. Seeing as she's traveling more or less outside rush hour they might be an option. The first 2 are pay and display so she'll need change.

Where is she coming from? Could give some better choices if we know which direction she's coming into Dublin.

Better option would be to rent a space in an apartment block, looking at around 150 to 200 a month. Theres ads on donedeal and buy and sell.

She'd be paying close to that per hour in town. When I was covering City Centre I was spending roughly €100 per week on parking. And I took a lot of risks with clampers

Red Cow P&R would be my recommendation

Its only for 5 or 6 days in the next month she'll be working there!

Cheers! 'Tis what we're opting for.
