I know you can get driving lessons and tests in your own car but seeing as you would be driving on a provo and its against the law to drive unaccompanied on a provo, whats the deal with turning up to a lesson or a test in your own can unaccompanied, do they just turn a blind eye.

Yes, they don't care about that.

Please don't do it - it's not worth it for the reasons above. Get your instructor to come to your house if you can;t get anyone to accompany you.

Can I get the instructor to come to my house for both the lessons and the test?

Any decent instructor should come to your house, as long as there's somewhere for them to park if you're going in your car.

As for coming to your house, it depends really, there is bound to be some instructor close by who will. But the problem is if the test route is far away. Because you don't want to have to waste 30 min getting there and again going home.

When I was getting some, the instructor was happy to leave keys with my mum and she just sat in their car knitting or reading or doing whatever mums do in there spare time.

You'll just have to ask tbh.
