Hi i was just curios, what sort of grip do you prefer to put on your hurl and how far down the handle do you put it? I use the karakal duo grips as i think they tend ta be a little tougher than the single color ones and i usually use a grip and a half so i have grip for shortened swings.

Black Karakal grips are the best by far. Stay in the best shape for longer and arethe best in the wet.
Whatever you do, DO NOT ever attempt to use an O' Neills hurley grip-my god the worst thing I have ever used in my life!!-When they get wet you might as well have poured oil all over your grip-absolutley shocking they are!!

ya the black ones are good. I got a couple of the cooper ones to try because they are longer than a regular grip but they were truly awful.... felt slippy or somethin! karakal have brought out a new extra long grip now, got some off brian walsh yesterday

If u cant hurl you cant hurl. You seem very caught up in hurleys and grips, Brian Walsh and lash go leor and others. If u can hurl it really doesnt matter what stick u use. We have a lad or 2 in our club like yourself and they have all the latest hurleys and grips but wouldnt get a game on any team. Play the game and stop the crap threads. Over here we dont have a great selection but it doesnt make a good player bad.
