Hi all - hope this is the right forum for this.... I have a serious problem with flies in our Velux windows..they get in behind the opening handle and when you open the window lots (and I mean lots) of them enter the room... has anyone had a similar problem? is there anyway of solving this? Thanks in advance

Get a spider. (Or Fly Killer - most likely, they're hatching there)

I have exactly the same problem. It never bothered me before as just attic space, but just got it converted and its pretty bad.
