Anyone remember the 5p woppa bar, they were lovely. I used to eat4 or 5 every day, havent seen them for years. I'd love one.
Also anyone remember crisps called Roysters? They were the business, i loved them.
Cant find Postman Pat penny sweets anywhere
Any remember when a stinger bar was the length of your arm?

Loved Stinger bars, green with pink powder inside from what I remember. Woppa bars were good for getting that last loose tooth out.

Does anyone remember there was a big thing about Stinger bars containing "E123" which was supposedly a particularly bad E-number?

Also anyone remember "Rondos" - sort of hula hoops but cheese and onion flavour... didn't last too long

And Canada Dry? Were really popular when they were in promotional 50cl cans for the price of a normal 33cl... As soon as they switched to the normal 33cl, people stopped buying them!

got here thru google, apparently Woppa bars arent made anymore so cant be bought from retro candy stores, cant find any pics online. I ate them 20years ago, great value at the time. theres yahoo questions asking about them but the answers are always something completely different to what the person is asking about, maybe it was just an Ireland/UK thing, wonder who made them. dont think it was Barrats, the wrapper was lower quality

The cover was a paper or paper mix of some sort, always ended up sticking to the bar itself.

I left a stash outside one time, wasnt allowed much sweets as a kid. it rained and the bag got wet, had to pick the wrapper off in bits, it was a tough job!

loved woppa bars the green one was spearmint and they had the red cola one. The wrapper always stuck to it I ate a fair amount of woppa wrapper as a child.

Smiley bars were the ones that were like chomp but the caramel was orange flavour - yum
