They are notoriously adept at looking after the wallets of Bridal Party members.

Lots of post celtic tiger brides get a final year hairdressing apprentice and a final year beautician over to the house to process the women at 7am .

Cost c €250 the lot and touch ups are available right up to the very last minute . The apprentices have all the gear .

A very good friend of mine offloaded number one daughter last month and sorted it all out for them ( there were 6 in the party) .

The only inconvenience was that he had to leave the house at 7am and came back to a pack of screeching dollybirds at 1pm with the limo, they spent the whole morning guzzling champagne but looked georgeous .

Bellissimo will cost €250 per person and then you gotta dress at home and touch up yourself.

My wife and her sister, who got married within six months of each other, (the former to me...God help her) went to Velvet in Barna for their "day".

They still go there and rave about how nice the girls are and how they're treated.

I'm not allowed to know what it costs :D

Do the per person maths and ALWAYS remember the house belongs to the women on the morning of the wedding ( not forgetting the mammies especially if they like their champers too ) .

To be honest i find belissimo very expensive. although i was at a bridal fair recently and all the models had their hair done at belissimo and it looked great. The smaller salons can be just as good without the price tag. youd really need to get a trial done though to be sure.
