    Hi Lads whats the legalities on having your spots on during the day/evening? ... What I mean is what constitutes you to be allowed to put your spots on ? Secondly regarding a fine is this just a normal fine or can it be penalty points ? Ayone with the answers fire away :D

    I think this one is more about the actual legal penalties (if any), rather than the general pain in the bum that they are.

    Sorry to be pedantic, but you would not need to know the legal penalties if you did not use them inappropriately.

    I think at the moment you would get a fine, don't think it is on the list for penalty points, but it should be.

    You can only have your fog lights on in fog and when snowing. There is no on the spot fine for the offence so it would be a summons to court. Hope this helps.
