Want to go weekend shopping soon but need hotel closest to a Luas Line. They list hotels on their website like Stillorgan Park Hotel but says it's a 10 minute drive from shopping centre. I can't work out how close within walking distance these hotels are from the Luas stops. Any help would be much appreciated.

the beacon is a lot closer than the stillorgan park, get the luas at stillorgan and your only a couple of stops away. get off at balally for the town centre

Thanks, so how much of a walk is it from the Stillorgan Luas stop to the Beacon?

    Try the IMI residence

    http://www.eurobookings.com/sandyford-hotels-ie/imi-residence.html

There's also bewleys hotel which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the sandyford stop and probably cheaper than the beacon.

The Beacon is doing special offers on shopping weekends with Dundrum Centre, you get a VIP discount card and all!! Places in the city centre might be worth looking at too, anything close to Stephen's Green for the Luas stop there.
