I just bought a Google Wave invite on ebay for $10. Turns out it was only a link to the normal Google website you can go to yourself, and not an actual invite. Can't believe I fell for it but the link was sent to me by a guy who really knows his stuff so I bought without even thinking, turns out he fell for it too.

I know its only $10 but the dam cheek of someone to try to sell a link that you can get with 4 clicks..

    What should I do now?

you should post this question on the ebay community board - i think you can report as its not allowed.
Then start a claim on paypal to get your money back.

On ebay at the top they have community and in that is q&a - you will see loads of posts from people who got scammed and how they resolved it

Paypal only entertain claims on tangible goods, not services or intangible goods like this. eBay make it virtually impossible to contact them or report an auction/seller, and even if you do figure it out, they won't respond.

Try a Paypal dispute, and see how far you get, but don't hold out too much hope.
