Shiply.com is good good site and works well and is in your marketplace. How do they attract their customers?
    Investigate that to your advantage.

Google is a huge tool for this.
Ad words or not there are tons of options to optimize your search priorities google even offer free graphed information showing key words etc.

I've just googled the words "wise load" and your site named wiseloads didnt even show up on the first page.

In these cases I'd imagine google would be one of if not the first means of looking for this service.

    Get it sorted lad.

    Great idea Paddy!

However, it doesn't mention anywhere on your home page about 'pay as you go'.

I also just googled courier and you're not on the first page.
That should be target one. No one goes further than the first page very often so once you get there your next step will be to differentiate yourself from the others.

Its a great name and I love the look in general, just one thing on the website though and this might be being picky but it is what would strike me if I were using the site, I would definitely change the image of the truck to an Irish/European model if its an Irish/Uk market you are targeting as the American truck makes it look a little vague and less local if that makes any sense. Maybe its just me but its just the initial thought I had when I opened the link.

    Plogue

tried to get an online quote for delivering 30 kg packages (60x60x15cm) in Ireland, but for some reason was instructed to ring an 1890 nr for quote!!

Also in your FAQ I noticed that collection times cannot be more specific than between 09.00 - 17.30, which surprised me! I would have thought at least an am or pm collection booking would have been possible?

Your website is nicely structured, well done!

    Hi Plogue,

I'm in this business....are you aiming primarily at one off senders?

Happy to provide competitive carton and pallet rates if you have good quantities.
