There is a good shoe repair shop on the way to Connolly Station from O'Connell Street.. can't remember the name but I had boots re-heeled there before and it was a good job at a reasonable price.

I used this place to get boots reheeled and some straps that had lost a buckle stitched down. They were great, if a bit expensive, and I could tell they'd be good when the guy who took in my boots looked completely heartbroken when he spotted that I had tried to superglue one of the straps down. They're on charlemont street, just down from Harcourt st

Maybe try the guy on Sackville Lane little road that runs between Clery's and Sony shop). It's down the end of that street on the right - he;s really nice, reasonable prices too (€9 for heels that last ages)
