    Hi,

    Preferably near Central train station?

    Many thanks in advace! :)

Area around Central Station isn't the nicest to stay in to be honest.
Park across from it is where all the junkies hang out at night and the ladies of the night ply their trade on the streets around that area.

You'd be better staying 2 or 3 metro stops away from Stazione Centrale on the yellow line (turati or montenapoleone) where the areas are nicer and the hotels are just as cheap plus you'll be within walking distance of attractions like the Duomo.
A must is to go up to the roof of the Duomo and walk round it...costs about 5 euros and gives great views of Milan if it's anyway clear weather.

Check out the usual hotel websites and tripadvisor for reports on the hotels (I have family over there so never stay in hotels but know the city well)
