Either Troubador Studios in Fairview or Muzzle Studios in Chapelizod......both around the €45 mark.

Troubadour is great. Four hour slots on the weekend are 45 or 40 if you book online. It's only new so all the gear is slick and the guys who work there know their stuff

apple rock in city centre. Gear is decent enough (some rooms better than others). Its rough and ready but its cheap and easy to get to esp if the band come from different sides of dublin

Applerock is not cheap compared to the others, they charge €60! Troubador has good gear and good lads running it but unfortunatley the lack of air in the rooms would suffocate you! So we will be trying Muzzle this week and hopfeully this one will be good.

There`s a really good rehearsal place in Phibsboro but it`s only got two rooms so it`s usually heavily booked. The gear there is really good and so are the acoustics and the lads running it are sound as well. It was 50 quid per session the last time I was there though it could be more now. Check them out at www.thelivesoundcentre.com. It`s up a lane and off the beaten track and was a well kept secret till now!! But well worth a try if you like a decent place to rehearse and dont mind waiting a couple of weeks to get in there. Though daytime sessions during weekdays should be easier to book
