Blower resistor pack MKV GTi

    Hi everyone,

    My blower stopped working sometime recently. Only noticed yesterday that 1-3 do nothing and only 4 (full blast) works. So it sounds like the thermal fuse in the resistor pack has blown. I want to try and replace the fuse first and if that doesn't work then the resistor pack itself.

    Only problem is I dont know where the resistor pack is! I took out the glove compartment last night to look for it but couldn't see it there. Is it possibly right behind the radio/blower controls?

    I presume the GTi is identical to a normal golf in this regard? It's an 05.
