i bets its a g... you can replace the keys but it can be as handy get another keyboard, takes about 5 minutes to swap them....head to ebay if its out of warranty

When it comes to replacing the keyboard, google the model of the laptop and replace keyboard, e.g. if you have a HP NX8220, google "hp nx8220 replace keyboard". You'll generally find what you're looking for in the first one of two links.
