Hi...I am heading to Edinburgh in 2 weeks with 2 mates...all male aged 24. headin from Tues to Thurs. Basically we wanna do it on the cheap...does anyone know any good bars who do dirt cheap drinks promotions. also lookin for the best pubs/clubs to go to!! where is good for cheap meals too?? sorry bout all the questions ha!! just wanna know about few spots before head over..

Try 'whistle binkies',its on south bridge lots of drinks promotions before 8pm,also up along the grass market u have biddy mulligans that does 2 for 1 on food jus bring ur student card if u have 1,theres loads of places that do 2 for 1 on grub. jus across from biddys theres a pub that does cheap drink too,looks a bt ****y but dirt cheap. the good nightclub on a tuesday n thursday is stereo, and wednesday lava ignite is usually good..'city night club' would be worth a look aswell,cheap drink n em all theres a hostel i think its called d 'caladonian hostel' friends got it for 8squid a night and its near waverly train station..and have a look round the 'pubic triangle'!!

oh and if u want classier places go to pubs on george st or queen st - shanghi is a night club there,they can be pricey thou..if u happen to stay on till friday go too 'drop kick murphys',tis v good for a session
and d pub called 'mood' is good and cheap too!
after that i dnt know!
