Recommendations for boiler (oil) repair/replacement

Has anyone any experience of reliable repairmen for oil boilers? Ours went kaput at the weekend and someone promised to call out to me yesterday but never came and never called to apologise! Really hate that, so now I'm looking for someone reliable. Might be a repair but could lead to us having to get a new boiler so would need to be someone registered so that we can qualify for the grant.

As they say, personal recommendations are usually the best., so any ideas, anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: Preferably someone who wouldn't mind coming out east Limerick way - towards Tipp town.

Try Mid West Central Heating. I have been using them for our last 2 houses one had a gas boiler the current one is oil.
Never had a problem with him and actually turns up when supposed to!
