Can anyone advise me on the above, I've been told that once you have an internet connection and sat dish that if I purchase one of these I can get nearly all satellite channels decoded without having to have a card, is there any truth in this?

The iNetbox 300s is the same as a Dreambox 500s. It is a clone so does everything a dreambox can do. Careful about what you ask as certain stuff is not allowed on here.

So does a dreambox descramble satellite channels or is a card purchase required?

If you have a card to an official provider like Sky or DigitALB then the Dreambox/iNetbox will decrypt the channels.

If you want to do it illegally over the internet you are on the wrong forum.
