Hi - never been shopping up North - I know things were great last year but what's it like now in Newry?

We are planning on a trip up for xmas presents - games consoles etc. - prices and deals seem better but does everywhere still take the euro and do they rip you off on the exchange?

Any advice appreciated? An internet search only seems to show tips from 2008.
