Limerick cross country champs are on this Sunday,

Could I just turn up and run in this or do I need to be a member of a club??

You need to be a member of a club!

    Thanks helpisontheway,

    Thats a pity,

The Limerick area seems to be the worst around for having races/fun runs etc. Most other counties seem to have a lot more races on for general public.

Why dont you just register with a club then? Most clubs will allow you to do your own thing as your doing now anyway so its only a benefit that you will get some extra races in Limerick for the sake of signing a form.

Competing for Boards AC might not necessarily make you eligible im afraid if the competition is only for clubs in Limerick;most county championship events are like this.
In saying that the Kerry Cross country champs this Sunday has an open senior 6km for men and 3km for women.[Once your attached to any club including Boards AC]
