i would highly recommend them for winter however when the weather warms up they can really make you sweat still very comfortable though

I wouldn't use the heatgear that you linked to but I find the coldgear great for training during winter. I definitely wouldn't use them indoors on a treadmill though. For training outdoors during winter, long-sleeved Under Armour or Baselayer ColdGear are definitely worth it. You should be able to pick it up for ~€30 on ebay.

Coldgear is excellent - have three of them at this stage. They do get a bit hot though, and make sure you order the size big enough. They are compression fitting.

get hotgear when it warms up keeps you cool in the heat as opposed to the coldgear which keeps you warm in the winter

Personal opinion but iv always hated to see anyone wearing these - you see them in the league mostly the cold gear anyway - i never think the player is going to have any toughness about them when i see them with the that gear on !

What you wear on the pitch has no bearing on how tough or whatever else you are. What about the hurlers who wear helmets, do they lack toughness aswell?
