New Race Calendar

    Hey,

    I've just set up a new race calendar on facebook that should hopefully be of benefit to those looking to take part in races, clubs and race organisers.

    Each race on the calendar is a future event on facebook. They can be searched by county and date. At the moment I have a few upcoming races up there. I've set up some and others were already on facebook. The events can be set up by anyone so I can set as many up myself as I want. Ideally it'd work well if the organisers of the races created the events and therefore can be the admins for the event and answer any questions about the races. If anyone wants to add their race to the calendar simply post a link to the event on the wall. I'll reveiw it (make sure it's not already up there) and add it to the list.

    A recommendation. If clubs are setting up profiles on facebook I'd recommend you use the facebook fanpage over a group. It's far easier to send messages to members of a fanpage than those in a group.
