However are you entitled to see all records held by the revenue and if so what section of the act should you request the information under. Are there any special consideration when making a request? Just a quick couple of questions, I presume that the above act only relates to public bodies or semi public bodies. However are you entitled to see all records held by the revenue and if so what section of the act should you request the information under. Are there any special consideration when making a request?
Also what is the situation with the data protection act. In that if I was making a complaint against an office could I request within the body of the complaint an application under the data protection act and the freedom of information act?
Do both acts not really amount to the same thing when attempting to accessing information on yourself, held by a particular office?
