I only passed two cyclists on the way to work this morning. Bloody pansies. A little rain and you jumped back in the car. Bet the bike to work scheme isn't seeming like such a good deal today :)

    Maybe you're just getting slow??

Either that or you're getting soft and slowing up and thats why you didn't pass many!

    Ho ho.

    Didn't SEE any then :)

Was very noticeable, might see can I pick a second hand b2w bike up in a couple of rainy weeks :)

I remember I went out with a Dublin cycling club one Saturday, it was pi$$ing rain and freezing so aload of them just went home from the meeting point rather than riding in the cold, wind and rain. It was about this time that I realised pure cyclists were soft :)

I got the bus today - mainly because there are no changing facilities in work and no where to hang wet gear... toilets are ok to change when dry but a cubicle when trying to take wet gear off...no thanks!

Caroline reports its a nice sunny 27 degrees. :)

Cycled in this morning as well, usual amount of cyclists from clonsilla road, Castleknock, through Pheonix Park etc. Not as much on Manor Street though, a distinct lack in fact.

I think I actually prefer cycling in the rain, apart from brakes not working as good, more stopping distance and **** drivers not seeing properly because of fogged up windows, it's actually quite refreshing.

Toilet cubicles are perfect for getting changed and with wet gear, all you have to do is take it off and your normal clothes are dry underneath. That's loser talk right there!

    cycled in today too.
but decided on tights instead of rolled up jeans...
    changed in the bathroom.
and i must say i found it about 10 times more comfortable cycling...
