Thought we could have a thread on this make-up brand.

Thought we could post reviews/questions etc.

    I'll start.

    Lip Primer and Plumper

Good for plumping. Smells divine. I'm not to keen on the Primer though, it makes my lips nude, kinda like this - although nuded lips suit some people, they don't suit me. But it is a 5* product and well worth £3.50. Will definitely buy it again

Tone Correcting Conealer (I have the "4001 Fair" colour)

Excellent product, gives great coverage, doesn't cake. It can be worn with or without make-up, cos when the concealer is on, it doesn't look like you have anything on.

Would definitely buy it again and would definitely recommend it. 5* product. Well worth £1.50.

    Tinted Moisturizer SPF15 (I have 6001 Tone 1)

Excellent product, gives great coverage, doesn't cake, looks natural. Only a small amount is needed. Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product.

Brightening Eye Liner (I have "Glided" colour)

Excellent product. Doesn't smudge. Looks great. Not to sparkly/glittery, but the more you put on the more sparkly/glittery it will be. Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product.

    Wet Gloss and Brow Mascara

One of (if not the) best clear mascara I have ever used. It holds all day, the eyelashes stay curled and still look natural. Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product.

Theraputic Conditioning Lip Balm (I have the "Vanilla Crème" one)

Amazing product! I've only used it twice today and my lips are so soft. It does feel slightly greasy, but not too much and it is bearable. When you wind it up to use it, don't wind it up too much because it is hard to get down and it breaks easily (as I found out today!). Well worth £1.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product.

    Mineral Eyeshadows

I have the "Celebrity" and "Earthy" colours and the look so lovely when on. They don't crease and last for ages. They also feel really light on, almost as if your not wearing any eyeshadow. Well worth £2.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product.

    Small Precision Brush

Their "Small Precision Brush" is fab. With some precision/eyeshadow brushes I find they can get eyeshadow sprinkled on my cheeks/under my eyes as well as ON my eyes, with the "Small Precision Brush" this doesn't happen. The eyshadow looks tidy. Well worth £3.50. Will definitely buy it again. 5* product.

Hypershine Lip Gloss (I have the "Flirt" and "Vixen" colours).

Excellent product(s). Would definitely buy more "hyprershine lipglosses". Well worth £1.50. Last for ages and give a subtle colour, although can be built up to a stronger colour. The lipglosses smell delicious, and don't make your lips sticky.

Well worth £1.50. Would definitely buy it again. 5* product.

Nail Polish - French Manicue Sets (I have the "Pink" set).

Fab nail varnish. Lasts for days. Dries quickly. Looks fab. Although I find if I put a clear nail varnish over it, it makes it too shiny.

Well worth £2.25. Woulddefinitely buy it again. 5* product.

    Eye Widener

Fab product. Looks great under eyeshadows. Feel's silky and soft on your eyes.

Well worth £1.50. Would definitely buy it again. 5* product.

    Contouring Blush and Bronzer Compact

One of (if not the) worst product I have ever bought.

It's much darker "in the flesh" than in the photo on ELF's website.

When I put a little bronzer on my face, it looked like I hadn't bothered to wash my face for a few days.

The blusher looked like I had put some bright-pink lipstick on my cheeks and rubbed it in.

Never ever again will I buy this product and I definitely do not recommend it.

0* product. Total waste of money.

I've never heard of this brand...do you work for them?

According to you, all but one of the products merit 5*s...?

LOL no, I dont work for them.

I'm just a (big) fan of their products.

The only products I rate as 5* (5 stars) are the ones listed in my post (excl the blush and bronzer compact) as stated in my previous post, the blush and bronzer compact is a total waste of money.

I agree with you on the contouring blush and bronzer - while I like the blush the bronzer is too dark.

The golden bronzer from the studio range is nice though as its kind of shimmery you cant put it all over your face.

    Good Idea.

    Shimmering Facial Whip

Good sheen like colour, great for day but not dramatic for night.

    Duo Eye Shadow Cream

These are the best daytime eye colour you can get. You have to use your finger to put them on so you have to blend well. But once it on it's on for the day. It's like a pigment filled lip blam for your eyes. Very good.

    Brightening Eye Liner

The pencil is too hard to use it every day on the inside of your eye and the results are too faint. Not worth it.

    Brightening Eye Color

Every one of these tiny compacts are brilliant. The colour is very blendable and strong. Use wet for night. You can blend very easily more like MAC eyecolour.

    All Over Color Stick

Only use as a high lighter. It would be too much as an eye colour. Very disco!
    Perfect on brow bones andcheaks.

    Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

Desperate, never drys. Guarenteed to leave you with a line where your eyeshadow should be.

    New Moisture Care Lip Color

Brialliant, lasts ages considering it's like a gloss. all clouors are very wearable even the bright red.
Looks like No. 7 lousious lips when on.

    Clarifying Pressed Powder

Good colour, good for shiny skin.
    Doesn't feel dry.

    Nail Polish

Very good especially the very dark colours. The navy is similar to the Channel one!

    Nourishing Cuticle Pen
Very handy if you use it every day it will work. Same type of ingrediants as Solar Oil, but in a pen. Very little comes out so you have to keep using it.

All the brushes were fine, nothing special but great price.

    Mineral Powder
Good quality. I refilled my L'oreal dispencer with it, as you have to have a brush with it. Converage not as good as L'oreal.

    Mineral Powder Concealer

Used this all over when the other powder ran out. Just as good as L'oreal with the right brush.

The Studio Line looks really good.

When did you place your order?

I got an e-mail about it today, so I presume it started today, so if you placed your order before today, the code won't work.

Silly question, but did you spend £25 or more on items excluding shipping?

Some offers like this exclude the shipping cost.

I'm not sure if this offer includes or excludes the shipping cost for the £25 spend as it didn't say either in the e-mail or on their website.

You could try e-mailing them to enquire about why you didn't get the free mini make-up with you order.

I have the nail polishes. Got about 6/7 colours. The colours are great, goes on super smooth but they chip really easily. I found that using a base coat and a top coat helped but I still got a day or two (maybe three if I was really lucky) out of them. Worth the €1.50.

My reviews of what i bought last week. Overall im quite happy, the products are cheap and cheerful but i wouldnt be raving about them. I liked the nail varnishes, lipgloss and mineral eyeshadows the best. The mascaras are atrocious.

I got my order yesterday and I got a free Mini make-up collection.

When I took it out of the box and opened it, there was dirt all over the eyeshadows/lipsticks and the eyeliner/eye-pencil had no nib. There was silver dust all over it as well.

I'll try and clean it up, but won't get my hopes up.

Also, if anyone wants, I'll do some reviews of the other products I bought? It'll be Friday or Saturday at least before I get the reviews done though,

    Got mine today.
Ordered a load of stuff - I'll put reviews up on Monday.

Also got the free mini kit, which was in perfect condition! Not really my colours tho, but a freebie's a freebie!

So far I have tried the tinted moisturizer which seems quite good, but it's a very small tube. Can't really complain about the price though!

They've got some great shipping deals if you follow them on Facebook.

    So I got
Nail Polish (Fire Coral) quite light in viscosity, two coats is perfect. Good colour and easy to apply. 4/5
Candy Shop Lip Tins (Berry Pop) Nice lip balm, the tin is generously filled and great value. 4/5
Brightening Eye Color (Brownstone) Colours seem to have a decent amount of pigment, haven't used it yet
Beauty Encyclopedia (Sparkle Eyes) A bit of excitement for myself more than anything. Great value at £6. Haven't used it yet.

The whole lot was £11.50 incl shipping. I ordered on Wed, arrived on Mon.

I have ordered from these guys a few times, not gonna go through the products because it's been a while and I've just moved and I'm not rooting all my makeup out!

However I will agree with the previous poster - follow them on facebook, they often give out promo codes for free shipping and do offers etc. invite your friends!

Also, if you have complaints they are excellent at dealing with them. I've been disappointed with one or two products and have had them replaced/refunded if my problem was reasonable. I think given the price and the volume they sell at, there are bound to be hiccups and the odd item that's not up to their usual quality, but the customer service is really good.

I don't wear much makeup so I've found their tinted moisturiser or their clarifying face powder excellent. They both do a really nice job of just evening out my skin tone and giving light coverage, without leaving any obvious trace or feeling heavy on my skin.

Also, their eyeliner pens are great for those a bit on the unsteady side! :D liquid eyeliner usually goes all over the place for me, but I found these really handy and quick to just slick on. They do dry out if you don't put the caps back on properly, but that's to be expected with any product really.

Just an update on the nail varnish - it didn't last very long. You'd get two days out of it max, before it starts to wear off.

Well, after using their stuff for a while now, I think the products are a bit hit and miss. The pigmentation on some of the eyeshadows isn't great (no where near the colour of MAC) but it's ok.
The nail varnishes go on very well, great colours, but will only last the night. So you have to put a top coat on if you want them to last more than a day or two. I liked the lipstain - it goes on well, stays well and it has a good consistency and colour. Now two things went wrong with one order - I got fake eyelashes and the glue was dried out. And I got an eyeliner, which is ok - not that heavily pigmented, and the brush that came with it broke on first use. I had no problems with the glue & the refund. But the customer service got a bit snotty with the second and wanted me to photograph the broken brush along with the bleedin invoice?!

So my two cents - it's ok. It's a bit hit and miss. You can find some good things, but other items are just 'cheap'. But then, it is so cheap that you don't really care.

I kinda figured they wouldn't be up to the standard of what I wanted, splurged a little on an Inglot palette instead of wasting money on cheap elf stuff, much happier now.
Their studio kabuki brush is really great, I'm thinking of getting a second for tan (apparently they are good for hands!)
