Where do I find AA batterys?

    My Sky+ remote is short of batterys. I need to watch some TV.

    This is potentially life threatening. This is why kids go joyriding.

    Where can I find some batterys in the house?

    Right as you can see,I locked the thread to visit your house to look for the batteries.
    There is one under the couch and another in a female apparatus that you can use.

    The ones under the couch are leaking, the rechargable ones in the drawer in the kitchen are dead, the ones in my MP3 player are AAAs, the ones in my sisters remote are spoken for and I've got a bruise just under my eye now :(

    use the triple a's from the mp3 player instead. Same voltage just lower capacity. Use tinfoil to extend them and tape down to keep secure. [thread/]

    I belive the box has buttons, so may i suggest some form of extended dialing wand perhaps?

    I like this idea but it's still a bit of effort and people are gonna look at me funny with a brush in bed with me :D

    Further problems now ... apparently an hour is too long for batterys to be dead before chaos follows. Now I'm over on the satellite forum. Here's hoping. Solving one issue and then the next comes along :(
