Trainee Accountant Positions?

hi unlikely but does anyone know of any trainee accountant positions that are cropping up? preferably in a dublin practice? been trying for a year now with no success!

In the same boat my friend, I have sent my CV to all Dublin practices, have personally gone in & handed my CV's in about 30 firms, but no one seems to be hiring. From what I know people are getting jobs through their own network & referrals. Big 4 have rolled out their applications for jobs starting as trainees next year. Closing date for most of the big firms seems to be the 22/10/2009. Give it a shot.

Also, Id suggest looking for trainee accountant positions in industry too, seen some openings in the last few days. Even look for bookkeeping work etc, will definitely help.
