New build: What intruder alarm?

    Looking for advice on new alarm.
    The house is pre wired and has 17 window openings and 5 door openings
    what panel and contacts / sensors would you recommend I would to do it my self but if not,
    how much should I expect to pay to have it installed?

    Hi Sid71,
    If your going to be installing the system yourself i would go for a astec. It is a two wire system. Very easy to program, and has a built in voice dialer for self monitoring. You can buy the system off astec direct to save yourself a few bob too. There number is 016704202.

    The Signet is another system to look at, a bit more complicated than the astec but worth it.
