Is it possible to get towbars and roofracks that will fit most cars or are they usually specific to a car? Its a 98 astra btw

they are spefic to cars for the most part..

roof bars by certain manufacturers can be interchanged by replacing the kit part
(cheapest bit)

i.e paddy hopkirk
Tulle etc.

as for tow bars they are 100% car spefic hatch wont fit saloon etc not to mind different model ...
