FAIL!, Can anyone tell me the correct orientation of the selector gears?, specifically LHS Selector as i wont be reattaching the RHS Selector!

You need to pry the receiver out a little with a thin flat head and rotate the selector to semi, then try fire it. if it fires in semi and auto as its supposed to, you pry out the oposite side and line up the other selector with the first one. :)

i see, but say for example, just for ****s and giggles, i had the reciever and the mechbox seperated, and 2 selectors removed and no point of refrence!
what would a guy do then? :)

Just stick the selectors back onto the receiver as normal, they'll be able to move independently.

point them backwards towards the stock and fit the gearbox into the receiver. then as mentioned above, pry out the left one so you can move it without it actually engaging with the gear on the gearbox. point it at semi and give it a test. then just align the right one with that since you know its right. :)
