    Guys

Any ideas on where I can get an E46 Exhaust. (back box section) Tried alot of parts places but the only seem to have the 1.9Lt on their books. Its the 2.0Lt Sept 01 M42 engine. I mean these cars are everywhere, surely the exhaust is easier to come by.

    All help very much appreciated.!!!

    is it a 318?
    or a 320?

i am 100% sure that the older 318 was 1.9 litre (my mam had one), and the 320 was a 2.2 litre?

Was ideally looking for as close to OEM spec. Keep costs down and that.
Performance tend to be pricey and shorter life.

    Cheers Man:D

    Opps I'm an Idiot its the 318. It is 2.0Lt ( they revamped the engine Sept 01) All 318's after this were 2.0lt ~ 140Bhp. 1.9Lt ~ 108Bhp

Did you look up the part number on real OEM? is it the same as the part number for the 1.9L one by any chance??

    Did you try GSF?

I've gotten back boxes off them before and they've been fine. they are very easy to fit too...

Yeah have been in. Unfortunately they ordered the 1.9lt one for me. It is a different unit. Outflow is on opposite side and its built to suit the 108BHP setup.

They are keeping eye out but Im looking anywhere at this stage:(
