Applying for JSA

    Hi all, just wondering what do i need to bring in with me to the SW office, im heading in tomorrow morning to apply for JSA, so far i have my proof of residence, proof of seeking employment, 2 forms of identification and school graduation cert (to prove im out of school for more than 3 months) is there anything else needed?

    Only other thing I can think of is a p45 or p60 if you have one?

    eh no don't have them..all the jobs i've had were cash in hand lol

    If you've never worked then you don't need proof of ceasing employment.

    yeah, im just out of school, and was basically working part time for cash in hand, currently just looking for work, hoping to get into the prison service when they open back up

    You might be asked if you have any savings. If so, you will be asked to show your bank or post office savings book or statements.
