02 broadband modem+vista laptop connection issues

Hi all I'm trying to help my Father Connect to the net using a 02 modem and a laptop using vista both of which i know very little about. He had allready put it into the laptop before i was talking to him so Im guessing he messed up the install and I need to reset it up. I have to do this over the phone as i live 50 miles…

Hi all

He had allready put it into the laptop before i was talking to him so Im guessing he messed up the install and I need to reset it up.

I have to do this over the phone as i live 50 miles from Him and his PC skills are very limited.

anyone able to give me some info as to how to set this up in vista. what should his username and password be.

Im guessing his mobile and the pin. the person in the shop gave him no info just handed him a box ???

Its a E1752 it that makes and difference
