    Hi All,

Nominations close at 5pm today for the 2010 IAA committee positions. Here are the current candidates.

    IAA AGM Forum

    Executive Committee positions

    Chairman
    Richard Smith

    Vice-Chairman
    Declan Duffy
    Graham D'arcy

    PRO
    Kevin Weaver
    Mariel O'Keeffe

    Treasurer
    Tom Keogh

    Secretary
    James Griffin

    Legal Officer
    None

    Exec Community Liaison Officer
    None

    Non-Executive Committee positions

    Safety officer
    Bernard Lyons
    Alan Cipas

    Technical officer
    Chris Burke
    Richie Mangan

    Events Officer
    Gareth Neville

    Non-Exec Community Liaison Officer
Daniel O'Connor (Provided position becomes non-exec)

Discussion topics are now open for all who have put them selves forward for positions to be asked questions by the public.

Positions will be voted upon at the AGM on the 14th November.

For clarification, non exec positions do not require to be seconded and are not put for voting at the AGM, the incoming exec committee will be charged with selecting the advisers they require in the roles they choose.

Non executive committee positions are advisory roles only and do not have any power on the committee in decision making or a vote on such.

Non executice positions are assigned to any willing and qualified persons that volunteer to run for such, as such they are not limited to just one person to act in that capacity. In the event more that one qualified person steps forward to be an advisor to the association we will be more than happy to have both persons assistance it that position.

Advisory positions have never been restricted based on commercial interests of an applacant.

Advisors attend some but not all of the committee meetings and shall be excluded from meeting subjects that may contain commercially sensitive information, or information of a sensitive nature (investigations, disciplinary discussions etc).

The committee is open for any advisory role to be suggested that the membership feels would benefit the operations.
