Peat burning power stations shut down?

I heard on the news this morning that jobs at Bord Na Mona are under threat due to the closure of two recently built peat burning power stations, for several months in 2010 and 2011 due to corrosion problems at the plants.
Does anyone know what these corrosion issues are? It sounds a bit strange for two stations to be out of service for repairs given that they are fairly new.

Workers fear significant losses in overtime and bonus payments during what should be high periods of electricity generation.

Isn't this the second time these plants have been shut down to deal with Corrosion?
