Finally we get our weekly dose of Dexter, after the long, long wait... (the pre-air was good and nicely set the tone of the season - the wait, not so good :)).

    TV.com summary:
Dexter misplaces needed evidence in the Trinity Killer case, evidence which could expose his secret. Meanwhile, Miami Metro must juggle two serial killers at the same time, as the Vacation Murders might bring the city's tourism industry to a grinding halt.

I look forward to watching this later tonight...

    Pretty good.
This shaping to be the best season since 1(where I pretty much watched the entire season in a row).

    Debbie still weak for Lundy.
    Quinn - Thieving Irish C*nt.
Harry Morgan's ghost getting younger looking.
Vince Mousaka - solid gold as usual. Do person's registered with STDs get placed ona database? Vince "now why would I know that?"

Only disappointment is Trinity obviously only killing in 3s, and with one down already that's only 2 more kills left in Miami.
Dare I say we want Dexter's nemesis to be a creator of more carnage?

    Meh.
I liked it. The cliffhanger was a bit conveniently handled after all though we all knew that Dexter wasn't just going to get done for killing Benny - I like where it is going though, with Harry stressing to Dexter that he is doing too much and has to get back to the core of the code.

Quinn - hmmm, what's up there? I wonder what his "explanation" for pocketing the cash was going to be when he though LaGuerta called him in for that.

Deb and Lundi I don't care about much. Much more interested in seeing what happens when Deb finds out about Dex's mother. I'm guessing the whole Lundi/Anton drama that'll play out is only to distract her from finding out too soon.

Trinity seems to study his victims quite a bit so they can afford to space out his kills. John Lithgow is really bringing the creepiness - I look forward to him crossing paths with Dex.

Great to have it back on a weekly basis :D.

    Pretty good.
    Cracking episode I thought.

Really good to see Dexter cracking up and getting cross at people.

Like other posters I like the way the season is going, was very apprehensive of this season with the family etc

Just a thought perhaps the Trinity killer might latch on to Dexters missus? Although he does seem to prefer brunettes

Yeah this was a good episode alright - lots of humour (loved the final scene) and the Trinity Killer is interesting... we haven't had a good killer since Season 1.

Could do with less of the sub-par soap opera of LaGuerta/Angel and Debbie/Lundy nonsense though...

Quinn is interesting again - they seemed to make him a bit mysterious last year and then dropped it quickly. Now we're fleshing him out once more.

I'm feeling more positive than I have been since Season 2.

    Quinn's woman, yum.

Anyone else find the preview of the next episode a little puzzling?

I think she's pretty much a female version of Quinn.

Their faces, expressions, mannerisms, smile whatever, are all the same.
Sneaky bitch too, just like Quinn.

The non stop visions of Harry are getting annoying now imo, liking this season so far though.

It made a lot of sense in this episode though that Dexter would see Harry so much - when he panics, he goes back to the lessons Harry taught him... now that the crisis is solved, I would expect him to not see Harry quite as much.

Very good episode. Really enjoying Lithgow as the trinity killer. Masuka nailed all his scenes as usual, top notch support. The crisis with finding the body was very well handled. Lots of good comedy moments. Loved the line about wanting one day in Miami without a murder. :D

I was thinking it may go that way too.

    Pretty good.
Great episode. Dexter really is juggling a lot. Added to the stress of the crash he was barely holding it together. He was never going to be done for killing Benny but it was good to watch him relying on the code to see him through.

The Trinity killer seems to look for something specific in his victims. As pointed out already they are all brunettes so i don't think that Rita is in danger. He has come full circle now and if the 30 year old case in the same house was his first then Dexter and Lundy may find something to link him to track him down.

Masuka was great as always and Lundy was good too. I hope Debbie has moved on now and they can focus on other things. Quinn's storyline could be interesting with more involvement from Dexter.

I thought that Dexter would get some sleep at the end but it looks like he's going to be sleep deprived until he decides to give one aspect of his life less attention.

Yeah,I was watching the most recent episode last night and it was really starting to irritate me.

I really dislike Quinn as a character and hopefully they're setting it up for Dexter to take him out at some point..

The highlight of that episode for me was Dexter lashing out at Quinn when Quinn was trying to be all pally and trying to get Dexter on side.

Yeah Supermans wife, Courtney Ford. She bares an uncanny resemblance, imo, to Claire Forlani from meet Joe Black.

Also, never watch the preview at the end. Tends to completely ruin the next episode for me, so I turn it off before it starts.

Overall this episode was good, but, like others, Harry showing up so frequently started to wear thin. He felt like Al from Quantum Leap, I half expected Harry to take out a piece of cheap plastic called Ziggy and start checking the timeline to see if any bags of body parts had turned up.

Okay, I have Sky Plus but no sign of Dexter. On what channel are all you guys watching it? It won't be on FX until next April I'd say.

To the mod: this isn't a download request ;)

    channel cousin I imagine :)

It was good, I liked it again.

but I thought the idea of Dex becoming the master in s03 brilliant but terribly done so I'm gonna reserve judgement on it until it really gets going (even tho it does look promising!)

She looks like the identical twin sister of Laura Whitmore.

    Pretty good.
My impressions are that the writers have learned from the mistakes of season 3: Dexter is best when the main character is under serious pressure. Doakes is dead, but look what they've cooked up instead: Lundy is back and will surely become at least slightly suspicious of our hero. Deb is on the verge of finding out that Dex is Laura Moser's son. And Rita will soon surely learn that Dexter has something to hide. Three massive problems for Dex, plus the Trinity Killer.
