    they seem to be alright. they make claims about mixing in their spiel too.

    i remember an SOS article about the software and it made some pretty hefty claims.

    It seems to do two nice things I noticed. One is the availability of Project Libraries, being able to use plug-in set-ups from other projects. And it seems to work with a load of other DAW formats OMF, Pro-Tools, Avid XML and AES 31 straight out of the box. Very much the kind of thing that would be useful for a re-recording/dubbing gig for movies etc.

    The Strip Tools comprise a compressor, an expander (both of which can be switched to act in an 'upwards' mode) and a five-band, fully parametric EQ

    nice, if they're as good as the article says, having them integrated into the mixer is saving a serious amount of cpu over inserting seperate plugins.
