hi everyone, i just started a law course, it is really interesting however i am finding it difficult to make notes from the book reccommended by the lecturer for constitutional law. I came across a book for constitutional law that seems to be in line with what the lecturer is teaching, do you think it is ok to use it to make notes as i find the one she reccommended to be difficult to understand.
please help me as i am confused.
i would also appreciate any additional information on how to study law as i am really frustrated by the way things are going. Thank you very much

When I give students required reading, I always suggest getting a second source for the material (I am a lecturer in IT, btw). In most cases, I recommend another book, just to get an alternative viewpoint on the same subject. So what you are doing is not a problem at all, as long as the material in the second book is covering the course material.

The only person that can tell you for certain is the lecturer, so I would make a point of approaching that person and asking her to confirm it is OK to read from that book.
