I have a lovely hanging basket with 3 strawberry plants that I planted in early summer. I have had a few strawberries out of it and the plants are lush and healthy looking. I would like them to survive over winter. What should I do? Will I put the basket in my (dark) shed, leave it as it is and hope for the best or do I…

Will I put the basket in my (dark) shed, leave it as it is and hope for the best or do I cover the base of the basket with something to keep the roots from freezing?
